I consider http://www.apparelyzed.com/ to be the best website serving those dealing with and interested in Spinal Cord Injury. It has extraordinarily active message boards including ones dedicated to sexuality, care givers, and incontinence. The links to both my novels take you to the Apparelyzed.com site. To post on the boards or in response to my books it is necessary to register, but registration is free and easy.

I first posted my books on Andy Lee's Site. Andy is generous and knowledgeable and has message boards, chat rooms, and lots of useful links.

My nephew Mike Brown is a novelist, musician-song writer, and poet and posts a new song more or less weekly.

In 2006 my niece Nicole and two friends, Eric Drasin and Tyler Howe, shot some 15 hours of footage at Better Farm, though BF is for the time being not a commune, is merely my home. To date all that has come of it is the 2-and-a-half-minute trailer Eric made. The first speaker on the trailer says I broke my back (it was my neck), was injured by the rescue squad moving me improperly (as far as I know they did no such thing), am a paraplegic (I'm a low-level quadriplegic), and received money in a court settlement in 1970 (the settlement was in December 1969). Picky picky picky. The trailer, for all its errors, is not without charm. Nicole, 26, is the former managing editor of Playgirl and in October 2008 became Editor in Chief at Diamond District News. She still hopes to make the documentary. Tyler helped me create this website.
